My own Poem

Summer’s a time to swim and glide,

To go to the beach to make  sandcastles  and to swim in the tide,

There's plenty of time to sleep there for the night!

But the most important thing to bring to the beach

Is to bring some sunscreen and maybe your own seat!

Today I sat on an Assessment test in Maths. I wrote it on www.prototec.co.nz. I was Proud of myself because I achieved 75% on stage six but I have to redo Stage six because I got under eighty although I'm still happy with the results!

Last week on  Thursday  Room11 went to the Library for a Easter Breakfast.

When we walked into the library we could not believe our eyes!

We saw a long table filled with Hot cross buns, hot chocolate with marshmallows and three Easter eggs! Before we ate Mr Ramkolowan asked us to do some research about the meaning of Easter and to find out who was first to discover Hot cross buns.Then we ate the delicious food!

When we ate the food we were all delighted because it was so delicious! When we finished eating we cleaned up our mess and said thank you to Mr Ramkolowan. And we waited until everyone was finished and then we listened to the piano which Jolie played on.

Before we left Mya,Sita,Hanatia and I took all of the cups to the school kitchen for a clean and Sive and Sunipa took the long table to the hall.

Conclusion: When we went back to class we all sat down and continued to do our daily work.

SUMMER!

 I love summer!Summer loves us!
Drinking cola that's no fuss!

 I like sliding on the water slide
 but I LOVE swimming in the tide.

 Remember to bring your sunscreen And a hat.
 But if you want just bring a mat!

 Summer is the best holiday.
So don't just bring a small tray!

 Bring a mini barbie and some friends
 that's alright I won't attend !

 But remember Summers not just about the Sun,
 remember to have some fun!

Hi my name is Alicia.I am 10 yrs old turning 11 in July.I live in Auckland,New Zealand and I have 3 sisters, my  Mum and Dad.I go to Glen Innes school and I am in room 11 a year 5,6 and a little bit of 7 class.My hobbies are Swimming,Singing and playing handball.My Favourite colour is Indigo and Teal.In my spare time I  LOVE to draw and watch TV.That is All about me!
