My Character description

As I turned around the steep path I saw the man…...

He looked terrifying in many ways. His blue as the sea  torn shirt following with holy pants made me take notice that he lived in the homeless. As he walked past me ,the smell of cannabis and tobacco made me already think that this man wasn’t  very good. The smell strangled me telling my lungs that they could not take the smell any longer. He gave a evil glare at me and made my heart pound very fast as if I was not going to go home safe.Once he left the dairy,  he left his dirty odour making people very  aware.

There was something strange  about this man that gave me the creeps.
I followed him past the flash  schools and  shops making sure that he did not escape. I had to do something about it. I thought fast. Then I saw a very long  rope that I thought would be good to catch this man with at the docks nearby. I heaved it and leapt at the man, pulling the rope tight around his small as a rat  body.
Frightened and suspicious, the people on the docks ran quickly to their little village  homes.
They closed their curtains not wanting to notice me and this man in between something very bad.But when I looked at his ugly  face it just seemed to be this little dwarf homeless man trying to ask for spare change and empty purses.I got this completely wrong and I felt guilty.

‘Sorry’ I said to the man in guilt.I made a complete fool of myself because why would I do this without a reason?I obviously don’t why I would do this to such an innocent man !I should have minded my own business instead of poking my nose into other people's business!

NZ Fern Tree

About the story:
This story is clearly about NZ Native trees such as the Silver fern tree. One of my favourite facts in  the book is that there are about twelve thousand fern species worldwide, and around 200 species in NZ! Isn't that cool?! Well let me tell you much more on the next page….

Facts about the Silver fern tree:
1.About half of all NZ ferns are endemic.

2.Ferns consist of leaves called fronds,a rhizome, and roots.

3. The Fern life cycle consists on two stages.
The sporophyte and the gametophyte.

4.  Ferns are vascular plants-they posses xylem and phloem.

5. The black tree Fern is NZ’s tallest tree Fern.

6. The largest ground fern in NZ is the king Fern.

The reason why I liked the book:

The reason why I like this book is because the tree is not just because It's my favourite tree,It is also from where I come from:New Zealand!

Ferns in the Future:

I think Ferns will succeed in the future even when I’m not around!Thank you for looking at my google presentation!

I'm learning Equivalent fractions

We have been learning about equivalent fractions. We made fractions from shapes. Photographed it and inserted it into our document. I learnt that 4/8 = 1/2 ,2/4  = 1/2, 2/8 = 1/4 and 2/6 = 1/3.
It was fun making equivalent fractions with shapes because we got to use different
