Howick Historical Village - Outdoor Activities

During our trip at HHV we got the chance to visit the outdoor activities. I really enjoyed playing on the wooden sticks because I got to challenge myself at it. I also liked the game where we had to get the object back onto the thin string. I really loved this activity and would like to visit HHV again!

Howick Historical Village - Entertainment

At our trip we experienced playing with very old toys. In fact I found that it was way more fun playing with old toys than current toys on the market. I think that these toys are very fun to play with and everyone should try playing with them! By the way my favorite one was the rings.

Howick Historical Village - Butter Making

It was really fun getting to experience such memorable activities at Howick Historical Village. I loved making the butter. There was also a chant that went,
"Come butter come, come butter come! Peter stands at the gate waiting for a buttered cake come butter come!" I learnt a lot from making the butter and it helped me discover new things on how you can save money. Even though I don't think I will ever make butter, I would like to share this with my family because they might make it.

Howick Historical Village - School in the 1800's

Yesterday while we were on our trip at Howick Historical Village, we went to a school that was very very old. There were no air conditioners so it was cold like a blizzard. We sat down on our wooden desks and had a rock and chalkboard to write a sentence on. It was really fun experiencing what it would feel like to be going to school in the early 1820's . It was a one in a life time experience that I will never forget.
