Reading T3W8 - Thursday - Kupe and the Giant Octopus - Vocab

Maori Language Week - Kupe and the Giant Octopus

Protagonist is our word for the day. We had to read a Maori Myth and then write about the protagonist.

The protagonist in the story is Kupe. His role in the story is being the leader of his tribe.
He has black hair. Everyday his tribe men go out and fish for bait. One day a giant octopus invaded their land and ate up the seafood that Kupe and his men were supposed to catch. One day Kupe trapped the octopus and killed it for always eating their bait. In my opinion Kupe is mean but protective at the same time.

I like that you have written so much synonyms and antonyms, now I might have a good feeling what protagonists means now. I have also done the exact same thing but with different synonyms and Antonyms. DO you now have a good understanding of protagonist?
